Terms of use
By using Enveline, you agree to the rules below. They exist to keep this space safe and respectful.
Eligibility
Enveline is for people aged 18 and over. The content exchanged is rated 17+. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the age requirement.
Community rules and moderation
Every letter and every reply goes through automatic filtering before publication. Nothing is published without moderation. The system classifies content into four levels:
- Normal — published.
- Sensitive — published with care.
- At risk — reviewed before any distribution.
- Critical — blocked.
The following are prohibited, among others:
- harassment and threats;
- hate speech;
- any sexual content involving minors;
- doxxing and sharing personal contact details;
- spam and scams.
Reporting and blocking
You can report a letter, a reply or a member directly from the app. Every report is handled within 24 hours. The decision is reasoned and can be challenged.
Blocking is two-way: once a block is in place, neither person can contact the other. Breaches of the rules lead to graduated sanctions, from a warning to account suspension.
Artificial intelligence disclosure
The replies signed “Enveline” and the “Parler” chatbot are artificial intelligences, never humans in disguise. They are presented to you as such.
The chatbot is neither a doctor, nor a psychologist, nor an emergency service. It does not replace a health professional.
Enveline is not a care service
Enveline is a space for listening between people, not a medical or therapeutic service. If you are going through a hard time, free helplines can support you right away: see our help resources.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law and the law of the European Union. The publisher is established in Guadeloupe, an outermost region of the European Union.
EU Digital Services Act (DSA)
In line with the Digital Services Act:
- a point of contact is published on the Contact page;
- a notice-and-action mechanism lets you report any content from within the app;
- any removal decision is reasoned and can be challenged.
